L - label screams "werewolf" for some reason. Pour is a dark but brown with spicy mocha head that leaves a dark ring of reddish brown lacing.
S - roasty and nutty. Dark fruits and deep red cherries. Tart oats and smoked meat. Roasted barley out the wazoo.
T - more roasted character. Bitter and dry. Bacon-flavored dark chocolate hazelnut coffee. There's an herbal freshness that peaks through the clouds at the end. Finish is slightly bittersweet.
F - relatively light and easy-drinking for the ABV. Silky and low in carb with a slightly frothy finish.
O - on one hand, this has aggressive flavors that bite like a werewolf, but it also seems tame in that it could bite harder. Either way, at 10%, it won't take many to give you a 3 day weekend whether you like it or not.
