Gold in color with excellent clarity and a half inch of brilliant white densely packed head on top. Aroma is of clean and crisp pilsner yeast and light biscuit cracker malt. I taste light, crackery, biscuit malt. The texture is light, salty, dry, and crisp.

16oz bottle. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, citrus and hay. Sweet toasted caramel flavor with a sharp, citrusy bitterness.

Pours an effervescent hay color with 2+ fingers of fluffy eggshell colored head. Stellar lacing & head retention
S: Bready, floral, soapy, grassy
T: Lemons, grassiness, pears, light bready notes, a bit of soapy & herbal hops up front. Grassyness, lemon zest & lime as well once warm. Finishes grassy, a little grainy & a little lemon
MF: Light body, delicate carbonation
Super drinkability & spot on for the style. Well done UC! If this was a little more delicate I would've given it full marks

16oz bottle poured into a stange.
A: Beautiful golden color with perfect clarity. Rocky white head does not budge. Lacing is extra thick and clumpy.
S: Sweet, grainy, and bready Pilsner malt. Lightly toasted grain. Faint white grape skin/golden raisin sort of impression. Touch of sulfur. Spicy, herbal, and grassy hops round out the nose. On point for the style and very authentic.
T: Freshly baked bread. Lightly toasted grain. Pear skin. Hint of sulfur. Touch of yeast. Clean. Hops bring floral flavor at first, but quickly go grassy and herbal with a bit of a spicy kick too. Bready sweet malt and spicy hops on the finish.
M: Light bodied. Malty firmness. Soft and silky. Crisp carbonation. Soft brush of hop astringency against the teeth.
O: Damn impressive. This is as near perfect as it gets. Perfectly attenuated, clean and crisp, well balanced, and true to style. This might be the most authentic American-brewed kolsch I've tasted. Urban Chestnut has some serious chops.

Clean and crisp, with an engaging bitterness. The brew is clear and golden, with a soapy white head. Subtle aroma, a touch of fruit...Apple, pear. The taste is medium dry, with some bitterness and a clean finish.
