Dark brown in color with a somewhat murky complexion. There’s a quarter inch of beige on top. It quickly dissipated to a fingernail around the rim and covering two thirds of the top. The aroma is of sweet Belgian pale malt and fruity Belgian yeast. I’m tasting sweet pale Belgian malt and fruity Belgian yeast. The mouth is highly carbonated and dry.

From a stubby brown bottle, this beer is a murky dark brown color. the It has a medium-sized off-white, rocky head. The aroma is earthy and spicy. The taste is balanced, with a yeasty, phenolic and spicy flavor. Full in body and not as warming as I expected for a 10% ABV beer. Okay, but not great.

Had on tap. Reddish brown pour with a tan collar. Very estery and boozy aromas with darker malts and belgian yeast. Taste is much the same, yeast breaks down with the booze quickly, slight wet raisin in the background, too hot. Feel is thin and hot, no burn but the beer waters out to the booze in a hurry, yeast lingers in the aftermath
