Bottle received in trade from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a slightly hazy deep yellow color with a frothy white head that shows great retention. Sweet crackery toasty pilsner maltiness with bits of light fruit, a touch of ethanol, and a bit too much ashy cardboard. Not horrible, but the oxidation kills this for me.

16oz bottle. Poured out a clear, dark amber color with a small head of tan foam. It smelled of caramel sweetness and toasted malt. It was malty and very sweet with a strong caramel and toffee presence. Minimal bitterness.

500ml bottle. No code date. Appearance: Light golden with a slight haze and minimal white head that dissappeared immediately. Aroma: pils malt, bready, grainy, with a hint of floral hops. Taste: Rich, sweet maltiness with crystal malt flavor, with a crisp bitterness on the swallow. Taste is very one dimensional, and sweetness almost cloying. Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel with light carbonation and some alcohol warmth. Finish: Semi dry and sticky on the tongue. Bitterness lingers. Overall: A strange beer. I get little semblance of a maibock or Doppelbock. One dimensional flavor, nothing to make me want another drink.

Brilliant golden colored with a light haziness. There's a fingernail of off white covering the majority of the top. Aroma of pale bready malt with a faint hint of German bittering hops. The flavor is an intense amount of bready light malt on the front of the palate. There's the hint of German bittering hops but then it quickly, gently fades away. The mouth is dry and refreshing.

Pours a super effervescent straw color with 2 fingers of fast falling eggshell colored head. Near zero head retention & lacing
S: Metallic & floral hops, plus a little breadyness, pear
T: Follows the nose, a little crackeryness & white grape with a little boozey bite up front, dryness & even a bit of lemon too. Melon & white grape with some crackery notes as this warms, some metallic notes as well, honey malt sweetness, a little grassiness & dryness. Finishes sweet, a little grassy with pear & dryness, just little boozeyness as well, & a kiss of floral hops
MF: Medium bodied, assertive carbonation
A very nice take on the style, drinks too easy. Would buy this again without a doubt. I wish I could across this during the colder months, a beer I could drink in front of a fire or on my front porch on a warm Spring day
