Pours a murky, cider-looking amber-brown color with two fingers of tan foam head. Moderate lacing.
Big malty aroma with bread and cherry.
Seems sweet up front in the taste, but strong minerality in the finish (coupled with sharp carbonation) cuts the sweetness off abruptly. Mildly acerbic bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
Relatively thin bodied with strong, sharp carbonation.
That carbonation is a bit heavy handed to my liking. Otherwise, all the components of a pleasant beer.

Aroma is husky malts, caramel and bubblegum/big fruit/berries. The flavor is dark fruit/hint of tobacco, German malts, fruit/berries and a unique/bitter hop finish.
