Enjoyed on-tap @ Urban Chestnut Brewing Company in St. Louis, MO for $5. Tapped from the Orange/Blue Tap Handle w/ a Wooden base into a Footed Pilsner.
Aroma- Has a very fruity aroma from the beginning with a ton of sweetness and malt. The hop aroma is medium and dedicates a great majority to the smell here.
Appearance- Received with a 1 finger head that has moderate/weak retention. Has a light yellow colored body with great clarity. Leaves a bit of lacing.
Flavor- Has a nice amount of fruit and sweet character once again in the taste but more adjunct like in the flavor... Lots of grain and has the traditional pils taste. Light bitterness at the finish to almost none.
Mouthfeel- Light Bodied, Medium0High Carbonation, Smooth, and leaves good grainy taste on the finish.
Overall Impression- A very above average Pilsner! Enjoyed greatly but wish there were more hops in the taste... I'm pretty sure how this brew was described to me was a bit off but who knows. UCBC always has interesting brews! Enjoy this plus the other two Hop Switch beers if you get a chance!
