Enjoyed on-tap @ Urban Chestnut Brewing Company (UCBC) in St. Louis, MO for $5. Tapped from the Wooden UCBC Tap Handle w/o any name on it into a Footed Pilsner Glass.
Aroma- Very sweet and light grains hit the nose first. Then a nice light-medium hop aroma finishes it off. Easy and pleasant.
Appearance- Received with a 2 finger head that has outstanding retention. Has the clearest, light yellow colored body and leaves THICK lacing behind.
Flavor- Has an easy crisp flavor from the beginning and sweet malts. Noble hops come in towards mid drink and then has no bitterness at the end but then a more dry finish. Lager for sure!
Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, High Carbonation, Creamy, and goes down VERY smooth.
Overall Impression- An easy drinking Pilsner! Very nice and very similar to the Hop Switch 1. Would definitely hit this one up if starting out @ UCBC and wanting a "starter" brew. If available, try it for yourself!
