Enjoyed on-tap @ the Lupulin Festival @ 4 Hands Brewing Company in St. Louis, MO. Tapped from the UCBC cooler into my 8oz, 4 Hands Tasting Glass. Enjoyed two back to back.
Aroma- A very intense aroma with mixed citrus fruits, sweetness, malt, and American hops. Malts are included but remain in the background.
Appearance- Received each time with a 1 finger, bubbly head. Has a hazy, deep copper colored body. Leaves bubbly suds behind on the glass.
Flavor- Nice American, fruity hops with well blended floral and citrus. Good amount of malt behind this and has a light bitterness level.
Mouthfeel- Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Smooth, and Hops hit the palate and stay on there for quite a while.
Overall Impression- For my first IPA from UCBC, a very nicely brewed one! I especially enjoyed the fruitiness of the hops and how the nose was comparable to the flavor. Would definitely come into the brewery to get a Growler of this. Enjoy if your able to!
