First impressions...I really love the bottle. It caught my attention immediately on the shelf. Compared with the beer that I just drank, it already looks amazing,
Really complex hops coming through as I remove the lid. Yellowy colour, head dies down fairly fast, a little cloudy. Phenominal hoppy aroma of bitter malt.
Taste reminds me of some other craft pilsners that I have had recently, mainly Romanian. It's a unique flavour that is a little lemony, with a sweet light natural tasting malt. Certainly not typical German, and the taste isn't quite as bold as the aroma and the bottle design. Mouth feel is quite interesting, with the initial malt flavour and hops and lemonyness, all tingling and contrasting with each other. Refreshing taste, with hints of limoncello. The lemon sweetness is balanced with a lemon peel type bitterness. And there is a Czech style hoppiness that kind of shines through the lemonyness, to create quite a unique beer. For me the taste is a bit too lemonny to be amazing, though I still like it and find it unique, it would be great to try it again in summer,
