A clear pale golden beer, thin head but nice lacing, modest carbonation.
Smell is malty with classic german hefe. Some floral notes, but it's a bit faint. Taste is stronger: quite a bit of bitterness and peppery bite, and surprizingly some vanilla in the background. Nosing it again there is some of that too.
Mouthfeel is light, but also flat. Could do with a bit more carbonation.

Decent beer, but nothing spectacular.

A nice deep amber color awaits on pour, with as two finger head. Sticky lacing leaves traces on the glass as you quaff. The deep amber hints at the sharp notes of the flavor. Beautiful flavor, leaving a trace of bitterness on the tongue. Delicious and fulfilling, a nice surprise from the mixed bavarian six pack I picked up at the Edeka.
