I had this on tap at the Fridge, served chilled on tap.
The color is dark ruby with light haze and no head tiny bead ring with no lace but good looking red with okay clarity. The smell is fruity with light hint of toasted grain and slight floral hop with nice yeast ester adding to the aroma. The feel is mild bitterness which increases gradually with moderate toastiness and medium carbonation with slight sweetness and mostly dry finish.
The taste is very good with tangy yeast flavor with moderate hop flavor with pine quality augmented by a toasted almost biscuit grain base with malt balancing the hop bitterness with toasted almost bordering on roast in the malt with slightly fruity and citrus finish. Overall this is very good for the style - a bit hop forward but still balanced enough with middle malt and gentle caramel to be drinkable and not a red parading as a dark IPA.
