I tried this on tap at St Boniface, served chilled in a pint.
The color is very dark brown bordering on back with fine bead and decent retetntion.
The smell has a nice amount of malt with dark toast aroma and good cocoa aroma with light yeast ester. The feel is very good with nice body and moderate carbonation with mild bitterness with toasted and nutty cococa texures with mostly dry finish.
The taste is good nice porter base with a good amount of cocoa flavor which compliments the ale yeast flavor with a mild bitterness and dry finish which has a residal malt flavor. This is a very good porter with a little cocoa for the something extra.
