on drtaft

appears dark brown, fairly clear, thin cream colored head. araoma is malty - toffee, bready, raisin. well balanced taste, not too sweet. thinner bodied, easy drinking.

Very well made, very full of flavor. Toasted malts provide a very clean flavor for such low abv. Ranks very high among the american made english style beers I've tried.

I tried this on tap at St Boniface during the Anniversary Party, served chilled in a pint.

The color is dark brown with translucent clarity with thin pale head. The smell is malty with a light fruity yeast ester. The feel is not bad -perhaps a little high in carbonation but otherwise enjoyable with light sweetness and slight toasted texture.

The flavor is very good with a nice amount of yeast flavor with slight raisny element and toast from the malt in the middle with a light bitterness level and pretty tasty mix of dry yeastiness with a slight mineral accent yet pretty full on flavor for the abv. This is a great mild -well worth trying if you enjoy an english ale
