-served on draft @ location in tulip. 7.0% 84# peach puree added.
A: A bright golden peach appearance, is hazy, but filtered. A thin topping, dirty white, is moderately lasting. Again, a fairly good dense nature, but not a lot of substance. Still juicy and mouth watering enough for a solid 4.
S: The nose was fruity with bursts of peaches and pineapple, fresh and wet, most likely from all that puree added. Some freshly sliced oranges with a tropical sense of mangoes and passion fruit were also present with a pretty good awareness factor. Soft floral notes with a touch of spiciness. Both Mosaic and Pacifica was used during the boil, can’t go wrong.
T: The flavor was bright with a forefront of peaches and pineapple bringing a fruity, tropical sense to the tongue. Juicy and tart orange-pineapple had backdrops of flowery citrus and pine hops. The flavor was overall juicy with a lot of wet hop resins, balanced with a feathery touch of citrus pine.
M: The mouthful was soft with a good crisp factor. Relaxed, in a tropical drink sort of way.
O: This had a very good aroma presence, was juicy and tart with a tropical and pine-citrus hops that played well with each other. Most likely a lot of whirlpool hops went into this.(edit: later found out a boatload of Citra and Wakatu hops were used.) Fresh burst of wet juicy tropical nature that should garnish some respect both local and distant. On a personal note I would of love to see this unfiltered and filled with protein goodies. Still delivers in the end.
