A: Bright orange juice glow in the vessel, shows a good haze factor, lactose induced, with a skimpy off white head that only moderately sticks around. No visible effervesce.
A: A nice tropical scent, of good awareness, though a bit of a let down after having their Surprise ipa: Columbus & citra which clearly out-shined here. Pineapple and peaches, semi-dry, comes with a good quenching of fresh grapefruit aroma.
T: Sticky pine hop resins dominate the opening sip. Some pineapple and orange combination provides a nice sticky tropical taste. Some fresh forest pine , orange grind, and soft lemon mention rounds out. A fade of soft flowery hop cones comes on the finish.
M: Nice sticky mouthful, resin like, medium body, with again a very soft, if any carbonation factor. Great feel.
O: Overall a nice N.E. interpretation and presentation, though as mentioned earlier the surprise comes as no surprise a better option here. Clean flavor, enjoyable drink.
