COLOSSAL THREE is a Heller Bock, also known as a Maibock. Heller Bocks are the palest and hoppiest of Bock style beers. Ours is a beautiful tawny color which comes from the Munich malt. We have chosen noble hop varieties that impart floral, spicy aromas and flavors.
This lager beer was fermented cold and aged at 32 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 weeks. The long fermentation and aging process gives this strong beer a remarkably clean finish, for which our beers are known.

Pours a nice light copper color with a nice head but no lacing
Aroma has slight malt hints
The taste follows the nose with a malt and bready flavor
A light bodied decently carbonated beer
A decent Maibock

This is a great beer. Had it on tap at the brewery tap room. Toasted malts, caramel, with a smooth mouth feel. I may not be an expert on Helles Bocks but this is the best one I have tasted to date.

Nice foamy head that dissipates quickly but leaves a thin film head. Beer is a hazy but still clear medium amber. Very nice look.
Smell is very honey sweet and floral hop notes. Hops are stronger and mix well with malt taste.
Taste is slightly more bitter than taste and retains floral note and honey sweetness. Bit of alcohol taste.
Body is medium bodied. Light carbonation. Fairly slippery and slick feel.
Overall very good and very strong.

Poured a copper tinted orange with one finger head and little bit of lace ring. Aroma was mildly citric hopped and had a sturdy maltiness to it. Medium-bodied, much more malt based than hoppy or just evenly balanced as the malts give off a caramel/toffee sweetness and the hops just do enough to keep it from cloying and add a crispness to finish. Little heavier than traditional maibock but it's a good beer.
