5/24...pours copper high foam. Pine nose, grassy, sharp sweet pine hop bite. Light sweetness balanced well by the hop. Very good. Bitter, but with balance.

On tap:
Appearance is 50/50, brownish-orange, resembling iced tea, almost. The beer is hazy to cloudy, as well. The head, on the other hand, is a very nice lather that stays atop the beer. Even with the haze, carbonation can be seen feeding it, ensuring good lacing as well. Nose is a bit weak, sorta bready grain with some wet leaf, earthy hops notes.
The taste has some hops greenness to it, grass, wet leaf, maybe some juniper or pine deep down. The feel is resiny dry, and also leaves a bit of metal taste at the very end. The front of the taste does have dark bread tastes, with a light brown sugar sweet taste peaking through (far from the prevalent taste). Overall, it's a fairly earthy beer.
Kind of nice for an APA, although it is listed as an IPA on the menu (I think it's appropriately categorized here as APA). Definitely has a hop profile (does fade a tad later in the pour) without being overpowering, a well as a maltiness to balance it a tad.

On tap at the brewery.
Appearance: dark golden, clear.
Aroma: floral hops but not strong.
Taste: hop forward, then fading to a nice balanced finish. The hops are on the herbal side more than citrus.
Mouthfeel: somewhat heavy.
Overall: a solid IPA.
