From notes on 7/24/15: 6oz sample poured into a small snifter, during their release party. Pitch black, small head, low carbonation. The keg was quite cold, and the place was mobbed, so I never had a lot of time to let it warm and truly open up. However, despite it being a Belgian Stout (I'm generally averse to Belgian yeast), both the lady and I found this to be quite enjoyable. Good roast flavors and nice whiskey showing through. I'm excited to see what their barrel program has in store.
