From the pint can, it pours a hazy amber color with a nice white head that slowly diminishes. The nose gets citrus over malt. The mouth starts with a citrusy taste followed by a light bitterness. The taste lingers a bit with the bitterness coming through lightly. Refreshing brew!

16 ounce can poured into a shaker pint.
Canned 6/6/23
L: Hazy but translucent, pale-gold, large white head, loose rocky foam is sticky and leaves lace, lively pour.
S: Hoppy fruity nose, pear, tropical fruit.
T: Fruit and light floral hop flavor dominates, opening sweetness gives way to moderate bitterness, some sweet bread malt, bitter aftertaste leans resinous.
F: Light-medium bodied, fairly soft with lightly crisp edges.
O: Good APA.

Nice pale ale. Served on tap at the pub in a snifter. Clear and golden colored ale with a solid finger of white foam. Classic APA profile, lots of citrus and pine with some bready aromas. Flavor is solidly balanced, with a bready backbone balanced against a grapefruit and pine resin hop flavoring. Not too shabby.

12oz bottle into a shaker pint.
A: Pours a vibrant gold that's clear but oddly dense. About 1/2" white head dissipates at a leisurely pace, retention and lacing are rather poor.
S: Resinous, piney hop notes offset by a hint of grapefruit. Touches of bready malt permeate.
T: Opens with doughy malt and quickly livens up with a big citrus/herbal/grassy punch through the mid palate. Finishes with a well-balanced lemon hop/biscuit malt blend. It's not exactly bright, but never dense or heavy. Traces of lingering citrus sweetness after the finish.
M: Not too dense, almost crisp feel with low to medium carb make for a slightly heavy but not overbearing experience. Actually, the mild thickness benefits the flavor.
O: This is a well-rounded brew. The herbal citrus character of the hops plays very well against the semi-sweet and almost-burly malt component. Mouthfeel is an additional refinement, focusing everything rather than accentuating flaws.

Pours a light orange with some peach-like hues when held up to light. Not murky or hazy, but it is quite opaque even as it looks like I should see through it. Has a great white foam head on top. The look of a beer that will probably be quite refreshing in these humid summer days.
Scent comes across as lightly hoppy with citrus and floral notes. Taste is smooth, with some a great hop flavor throughout the whole sip that never feels too hoppy. Has a delightful bit of acidic/citric sensation when it lingers on the tongue. A bit of hoppy bitterness lingers longer -- just enough so to incentivize another drink.
