Slightly hazy straw colored, thick, dense white head, excellent retention and rings of lace. Looks like a white IPA should!
Grapefruit zest, coriander, orange, and crackery malt aroma
Tastes like it smells, with an herbal component, and the malt is a bit more doughy than crackery on the palate. Lingering bitterness.
Soft mouthfeel. Medium-light bodied and well carbonated.
Pretty exemplary white IPA

From the bottle, it pours a light yellow-amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets some citrus with spicy notes. The mouth gets a lightly white ale spice flavor with light malts and a modest unpleasant aftertaste.

Interesting aroma and flavored beer. Called a white IPA, it’s more white in color and dry in finish. Flavors of coriander and pepper mixing in. Kinda a saison/IPA hybrid beer. Enjoyed the flavors and found it interesting and drinkable.

The beer pours a nice white fluffy head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a clear golden straw color that looks nice.
The smell has a moderate Belgian spice note that goes well with a bitter citrus note I. The finish.
The taste follows the smell but with a stronger spice note.
The feel is good. It has a medium body with a smooth and clean finish. There is a bit of tingling carbonation too.
Overall, good and a nice introduction to white ipas.

Appearance:
Certainly puts the "pale" in India Pale Ale. Once again, Port City pulls that ghostly, translucent look. Pours a pastel, sun-bleached yellow; the color of an albino who's been halfheartedly rolled through pollen. Its equally pallid head puts on an energetic dance, rising a full finger-length's height. But its legs give out quickly, leaving a latticework of webbed lacing behind.
Bouquet:
Subdued citrus that smells like it's miles away instead of right under your nose, followed by an unimpressive second act of watered-down cloves and spiced herbs.
Feel:
Medium body with a bitter nip that lingers. Moderate carbonation. Nothing stands out.
Taste:
It's as if someone fell asleep on the idea of an IPA, then woke up and decided they were too fatigued to make the full effort. A laughably derisory demonstration of bright citrus hops, pine resin, indistinct spices and pineapple make an emaciated mimicry of a real IPA.
Overall:
It's like watching your kid put on a magic show. The effort is cute and its entertaining for a few scant minutes, but to say that its either rich or complex would be a bold-faced lie. Just another whatever IPA some brewery concocted to make a quick buck. No imagination, inferior craftsmanship.

From a bottle. Poured a hazy pale gold color with some wisps of foam, a nice inch of white foam head, and a couple slight streams of bubbles. The scent is of refreshing fruity hops and spices: pine, clove, allspice, with light and bright citrus notes. The taste matches, with a subtle spice profile and tropical fruit flavors (pineapple) that work well together throughout the entire sip. Feel is medium bodied with a slightly citric bitter aftertaste. A very enjoyable drink, especially on a surprisingly warm March day.
