Was looking for something easy and relaxed this weekend and thought this might fit the bill. Nice lip smacking potential on the bread note. Maybe just a touch too much carbonation. Clean in the finish. More or less what I was going for.

L: crystal clear nice yellow tint carbonation flow is a little low head goes away awfully quick though
S: not super strong a little metallic grassy not a lot of spice you would expect from a wit
T: the only thing about the taste is that it feels like a slight heavy light not a wit there’s no cloves at all or any spice
F: nice body medium carb no oil dry beautiful feel

Clear gold, white head, decent retention, no lace
Smells like slightly sweet malt and a little bit of grassy hops
Pretty much tastes like it smells with a touch of spice from the hops as well as the grassiness
Light bodied, appropriately carbonated, and very drinkable
A decent enough crusher

Picked up a 6 pack at Giant Food in South Riding, VA, on sale for $9.99. Anything under $10 gets my attention.

Very enjoyable, with a subtle classic “beer” flavor. I like the taste of beer, and the taste of coffee, so I don’t want any added flavors, to either. This fits the bill. It is just beer, and it tastes like beer.

It is not as crisp as I like, but that is a personal preference of mine, not a criticism of this beer.

Good stuff, I recommend it, if you just like a basic beer.

Look-It pours a medium-light shade of golden yellow. The head is white and silky and diminishes quickly.

Smell-It smells of honey, sweet grains, yeast, and bread.

Taste-The taste follows the nose. I get lots of honey, bread, cracked grain, yeast, and some fruity sweetness as well. It is light-bodied and slick.

Overall-This is an easy-drinking brew which is a nice way to cool your brow in the hotter days of the year. Serve chilled and pour into a tulip glass or standard pub glass.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, a bit of malts. Taste is of citrus, malts, refreshing and easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Can dated 4/26 with tasting notes from Port City, "easy drinking, clean, refreshing"
Condensation makes the beer seem more hazy than it is - and it does seem a bit hazy at first, but is pretty clear when things are given a chance to settle down. The head grew aggressively in my fluted PC Pilsner glass, but settled down fairly quickly as well.

Nose is cereal grain with a hint of fruit or melon, but really the malt is driving the nose. Taste opens with that note, and it rides the entire trip over my taste buds. Fairly clean, and quite light, but avoids being watery and even has a somewhat of a soft feel through which a prickly carbonation breaks up with mild aggression. Fairly neutral bitterness, though it might lean a bit towards herbal as I get about midway through the beer.

Pretty straightforward, as the style is intended. There's a malt-driven opening and a balancing bitterness in back.

From a can (the labeling looks great -- distinctive and summery). Pour has a nice foam head with great golden straw color and perfect clarity. Minor effervescence is present. Scent is crisp and clean with a slightly malty backbone evident. Taste matches a golden ale well with a bit of wheaty-ness and an all around crisp, clean, and refreshing flavor. Feel is on the lighter side with a bit of effervescence on the tongue. Quite refreshing, especially as summer is starting to heat up!
