The beer pours a nice off-white brownish bubbly head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a clear dark mahogany brown that looks really good.

The smell is delicious. It has a sweet caramel smell mixed with a smokey and roasted malt note.

The taste contains the same notes as the smell but with a hop bitterness as well.

The feel is pretty good. It has a medium heavy body with biting carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall, this is a delicious and well-brewed beer worth getting.

Deep smoky flavor over toasty, bready malt. Just enough hops to balance

From the pint can, it pours a clear reddish amber color with a modest, though lasting light tan head. The nose gets a nice dose of smoke, followed by a sweetish malt. The taste follows the nose, with a nice smokiness coming through. Feel is in the middle, just about right. Lightly smoky aftertaste as well.

From a pint can into a draught glass. Pour has a 1/3" head of light khaki foam that quickly settles to a thin layer over a clear reddish-amber body with some effervescence. First on the nose is the scent of smoke that mixes in with a sweeter toasted malt note. Taste is smoky, toasty, a touch sweet (caramel), and an all around treat. Feel is on the medium side with effervescence bouncing on the tongue. Overall a very enjoyable offering!

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours a clear amber color with a ruby hue, one finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring around the glass

S- some subtle smoke on the nose, giving aromas of campfire, smoked ham and a hint of bandaid. Undertones of brown sugar and doughy malt

T- slightly sweet and malty up front with a trace of caramel. Mid-palate brings out a moderate amount of smoke, adding some smoked pork undertones. The finish drinks a bit like a marzen with some toasted bread and more caramel. Lingers of moderate smoke and sweet malt

M- light-medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp finish
