Served in a shaker pint glass at Lakeside Inn.
Well, the Bulls really like to make you squirm, don't they? Luckily, there's some tastiness in my glass here. It pours a straight onyx topped by a finger of dark-ish tan foam. The nose comprises chocolate powder, roasted malts, light molasses, and a light twinge of oak. The taste holds notes of heavy roasted malts, mild coffee, dark chocolate, a sliver of mint, and a very light caress of mild smoke. The body is a hefty-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a very nice, rather rich Irish stout. I hope to be able to have more of this in the future.
