Appearance: low carbonation, 1/4 inch head, opaque, black in color
Smell: espresso and black licorice
Taste: espresso, charred malt, and black licorice with light sugar towards the end
Mouthfeel: roasty, slightly bitter with a sweeter end, heavy body, moderate carbonation
Overall: A very good espresso porter that I found myself liking more and more as it warmed. The coffee flavor is strong and there is a nice sweet twist at the end. i would get this again if I wanted a hit of a coffee beer.
