2014
Light fizzy head, fades quickly, murky hazy burgundy auburn chestnut color.
Nose is loaded with bourbon, sweet candy bourbon and barrel juice, sweet candy toffee caramel biscuit, vanilla, dark fruits fig and date, candy syrup, smooth rich, brown sugar, etc.
Taste starts fairly sweet, sugary, brown sugar molasses, caramel toffee even a little butterscotch. Then big smooth bourbon, juicy barrel bourbon and vanilla barrel, butterscotch candies, very little booze. Some fig and date like dark candied fruit, little sweetened brown sugar candied dates, rich toffee etc. Finish is smooth, rich creamy, lingering butterscotch caramel and toffee, brown sugar candied dates, mild bourbon and smooth vanilla barrel.
Mouth full rich bodied, creamy like chewy caramel feel, little booze warmth barely, smooth, lighter but decent carb.
Overall amazing, great beer with rich sweet characters, nice sweetness level, no real booze, great barrel and bourbon, so delicious. I guess the age really helped as I really wasn't a fan of the original beer, but then again that was batch 1 so it was probably improved since then as well. Either way the barrel on this was great.

Appearance: minimal head, moderate-high carbonation, red-brown in color, hazy
Smell: dark fruit, cherry, raisin, rum barrel
Taste: dark fruit, cherry, raisin, big oak on the finish
Mouthfeel: sweet and sour, light in body, prickly medium-high carbonation
Overall: I enjoyed the base beer, and adding the oak aging to this enhances the flavor greatly. The fruit shines and the oak complements it nicely. Not my favorite from this outstanding brewery, but I would get this again.
