Massive fruit, flower, and berry forward aroma. Flavor follows, along with a ton of dry spice.
Tough beer to rate. I'm sure it's superbly executed, but there are way too much dry spice and flowers for my personal tastes.

Poured from bottle batch 001 into a modified tulip glass.
A - Dark straw, lightly hazed, solid carbonation.
S - Lemon. juniper and lavender. Truth in advertising! A very botanical base that I find quite nice.
T - Has Mystics, signature all over it, Starts slightly sweet, mid experience is dry and finish has a hint of sour.
F - Medium in heft, nice carbonation cleans the palate right off, a linger that is of lavender.
O - A wonderful expression and fine ale.
Cheers

Taste is vanilla, hay, juniper branch, lavender, and tart lemon that really surfaces towards the end. Solid and tasty gruit that I will gladly pick up again.

Bottle from the brewery.
Mostly clear medium golden color with a huge bubbly white head with moderate retention. Lemony herbal nose that reminds me of honey lemon cough drops. Light clove and pepper with a hint of sweet honey like malt underneath. The flavor is quite clove-y with light sweet honey like malt and hints of lemon. Medium body moderate carbonation. This beer is really not my thing.

This beer just begs for Spring, so maybe drinking it will help egg Spring along. Batch 001 or 002, hard to tell with the smushed stamp.
Pours a decent fizzy fluffy 1 finger head that fades semi slowly, decent soapy lacing, mostly clear golden honey orange yellow color.
Nose is explosive, it delivers all the floral notes it mentions, tons of lavender, floral lavender, with a definite bitter and fruity juniper berry, as well as wafts of lemon balm, a little lemongrass too, very floral and spring fresh like, a citrus almost orange peel like aroma, some phenolic notes add to that floral character, and a mild sweet malty note.
Taste starts a bit different, grainy doughy malts, and some yeasty flavors, an earthy raw sourdough dough and yeast, with bready notes, etc. A mild sweet toasty malty flavor with that as well. Then lots more of the floral characters, quite lemony out front, lemonbalm and lemon zest, a citrus orange zest like too, very balmy actually. Then some lavender, floral and earthy like lavender like the stem contained soil when added to the beer, perfumey lavender. Some bitter juniper berries, a bitter but also fruity flavor, like green blueberries almost but not quite that, just straight juniper berries I guess. Those increase as it goes, and attempts to dry on the finish, but stays a little sticky sweet, lingering bitter juniper berry and lemon zest bitterness, with more perfumey lavender and fruity juniper berry notes, and a mild tartness.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carbonation.
Overall interesting but weird... more of a late spring beer when it's hot, to sit outside and enjoy with friends. Drinking this entire bottle will be a chore, it's interesting and fun, but not more than a glass.

Served on draft last night at The Foundry, Northampton, MA.
A- Rather hazy pale yellow body from the tap to a large goblet. A white cap fills up to one finger or so with pretty good retention. Spotty lacing with a few small webs.
S- Quite lemony with a balancing spicy yeast profile. Floral barrage with lavender and herbal tones. Saison type yeast feel.
T- Lemon balm brings a unique and somewhat tart citrus pith and bright juicy note. Floral, herbal and spicy qualities from the yeast, lavender and juniper berries.
MF- Towards the light side overall with a foamy and frothy consistency. Medium high carbonation level and a tart lemony finish.
Feels like a Mystic Saison pumped up with lemon balm and flowers, maybe that is what it is. It all works out for me and I find the flavors balance out and compliment each other.

Smelled like toothpaste. Nice juniper taste.
