On draft the other night at Foundry, Northampton, MA. Review from notes.
A- Semi hazy draft line pour with a yellow hue into a tulip. One finger creamy white head rises up with decent retention. Small ring remaining leads to a few massive sheets of lace after each sip.
S- Orange and tangerine with a zesty and slightly juicy citrus hops; not really the oily intense citrus style. Spicy in general and it seems like its from the yeast. Hints of stone fruits and mango. Slight general pale base grains.
T- Zesty and spicy as a bit more tropical mango juice comes out beyond the orange, grapefruit and tangerine. For the most part clean but a hint of booze comes out with time and pale barley provides a light base for the hops.
MF- Smooth and silky medium body which works to support the ABV. High end crisp carbonation level. Astringent orange bitter ending that I didn't expect after smelling the brew the first time.
Tasty as smooth juicy orange and tangerine lands in mango land for a bit and the focus stays mostly on the hops with a bit of spiciness and light malts. Booze comes out with some warming and time but not enough to really hurt it much in my eyes.
