Very interesting "beer". Looks, pours, and tastes like wine for the most part. Zero head or lacing despite an aggressive pour. Very flat character to it. Thick grapey notes on the aroma and reminiscent of traditional wine on the flavor. Not really getting any of those barrel aged characteristics and considering the $15 price tag for a 24oz~ bottle, I wasn't too impressed.

A: Nearly-black pour but not quite. More like a brutally dark brown-red. Almost no head despite an aggressive pour. No lacing at all either.
S: Huge bourbon notes. Spicy alcohol and just some hints of fruits. Bourbon is pretty much all-encompassing.
T: Once again with huge bourbon but not as overpowering as the aroma. Super smooth and super sweet caramel up front followed by an enormous amount of dark fruits. Raisins stand out for sure. Sugary sweet finish with a bit of earthiness and oak to break it up. Somehow barely any alcohol harshness despite the aroma.
M: Heavy, silky smooth.
O: Wow, the nose scared me but the taste is great. Unbelievably smooth brew but with huge bourbon notes. You'd expect it to be harsh but it isn't - not even a little. Only indicator of the alcohol content is the burn in the belly. Very sweet, very drinkable (dangerously so).
