750ml cork and caged bottle, served in a stemmed glass. Pours a heavily carbonated three-four finger head, murky reddish brown body, retention too long, no lacing. Smell is tart apples and damp oak, light caramel and a bit of mineral. Not particularly smoky. Flavour is thin and without depth, light damp oak and grains, no smoke. Thin bodied, essentially not drinkable, a bit of bandaids on the finish. Hard pass the next time I see this one.
