DDH Saturation is a version of our hoppy pale ale that's been dry hopped a second time just before canning. We take both pellets and lupulin powder of Mosaic hops and freshly layer on top Amarillo, Mosaic and Citra. The result is an extra-aromatic yet crushable juicy pale ale full of citrus and tropical fruit.

16oz can dated 2/28/19.
Pours cloudy yellow with an inch of white fluff. Retention and lacing is decent. Hops are subdued for a DDH variant. Shades of peach, grapefruit, and orange. Light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Fairly juicy on the palate with grapefruit and pineapple. Finishes with zero malt, minimally bitter, and quite dry.
Tasty and balanced although not particularly hoppy or memorable.

My rating considers that this is a lower ABV offering. It is an excellent, hoppy, juicy beer, without the alcohol of a NEIPA. Excellent fruity nose - grapefruit, stone fruit, even some citrus and mango. These elements are noticeable in the flavor as well. Keep in mind - this is a low alcohol offering, not significantly more than one would find in a typical mega-brew, but with the flavor of some of the best NEIPAs on the market. This is not my first selection of the evening, yet it eludes so much flavor and scent that it is impressive. Get this when available!
