Orange yellow in color. Hazy in appearance. Orange, orange sherbet, grapefruit and underlying Belgian yeast esters. Biscuit malt. Semi dry, slight bitter finish. Pretty good Belgian style IPA.

Poured into brewery branded goblet.
Pours a hazy burnt orange with a fluffy white head. Head goes away but leaves a ring of lacing behind to coat the glass.
Tropical fruit and yeast hits the nose. Pineapple, passion fruit, and citrus is heavy.
Juicy grapefruit and lemon zest dances an the tongue. Yeast and pale malts come in smacking you in the mouth. Hoppy bitterness stays behind and joins up with booze.
Full bodied beer with little carbonation. Leaves a bit of stickiness in the mouth that feels silky and smooth.
Belgian style IPA perfected in a can. Full of juicy flavor that makes me feel like I'm sitting on a tropical resort ran by Belgians. Very well balanced but with enough bite to let you know you're drinking a beer. This is how to unwind and enjoy the day.

Cloves, indistinct spice, grapefruit, resin, bubble gum, mango. What a great combination of flavors.

Canned 12/01/17, never expected Mystic/Alstair, would make a DDH style beer, but at least this is unique with the Belgian yeast and all, so maybe it will be fun still
Pours a nice fluffy creamy 1 finger head that fades semi slowly, little lacing, quite hazy yellow orange color
Nose starts awesome, loads of Belgian yeast, peppery phenols, some fruity apple-pear esters, a mild sweet malt with touches of caramel and biscuity toasted grassy wheat, into some citrus and big floral grassy hops, nice
Taste brings tons more Belgian yeast and malts, toasted sweet Belgian golden malt, a bit of creamy wheat, biscuity notes, hint of caramel like, big ester fruity apple pear thing, with mild peppery phenols, great Belgian characters, mild hops with a little grassy and citrus, but plenty floral, grassy more as it goes, fruity too, touch of citrus and melon rind even, grassy floral all over. Finishes a bit drier but mild sticky.
Mouth is med bod, bit of booze warmth, big fluffy carbonation
Overall really interesting and enjoyable, so much great Belgian characters, some nice hops that actually blend nicely, very enjoyable and I think maybe a new fun style of beer. Well done Alstair, as usual when you really put your heart into a beer.
