Can from Julio's
Just a touch of haze in a light golden elixir with a frothy white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready crackery maltiness balanced with floral spicy hop aroma and flavor. Nice beer but seems a bit sweet and full bodied for the style. A little more attenuation would go a long way.

Had no idea this was Mystic, even better. Canned 1/23/19
Pours a big fluffy semi dense head that fades semi slowly, great retention and good lacing, mostly clear light tan golden color
Nose good floral earthy herbal Saazer hops, light doughy pilsner malt with hint of corn, good doughy cereal malt
Taste big cereal malts, doughy grain, griany-sweet, doughy like with light pilsner malt and a little hint of corn like, big hops too, medium higher bitterness, floral herbal Saazer hops, finished dry and good lingering bitterness
Mouth is med bod, little soft lager, medium to lower carb
Overall a good Czech style balance, good malt profile, great hop profile, good beer, a bit light on the carbonation

This was on tap at Seymour in Greenfield, MA. The beer had a clear straw appearance with a small white head. Great pilsener aromas such as a wheat and straw. Nice and sweet and refreshing; nothing too strong in wheat flavors but not too watery. Very crisp and refreshing. Overall, a great pilsener, especially with its appearance.

Glad to see a new (to me) Pilsner on the shelves amongst all the varieties of IPAs that dominate the craft world these days. Also glad to discover that the product represents, IMO, an excellent craft version of this historic style as opposed to the generally mediocre macro pilsner offerings. I'm hoping this will be a continuing part of Mystic's portfolio rather than just a rotating or seasonal offering. If so, it will be a regular in my beer refrigerator.
