Double Dry-Hopped Illegal Dance Moves. Yes, you read that right! We took a crowd favorite and, along with adding a generous helping of Summer hops, doubled-down on the amount of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria during dry-hopping. The result of this elevated version is an even juicier Double IPA, surging with citrus and tropical fruits moonwalking all over your palate. At 9.0%, DDH Illegal Dance Moves will bring a little disco and boogie to your Memorial Day get down.

16oz can. Pours a murky bright brownish orange with an inch of head. Lots of lacing. Fruit juice aroma. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple, coconut, papaya and lime. The taste is fleshy papaya and mango along with some orange. Piney hop notes as well. Citrus peel finish. Medium body with a dry mouthfeel. Not overly boozey, but the 9% is definitely there.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy thick burnt orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head softly dissipating. Nice film of foamy lace roaming around the glass.
The aroma had a ton of juicy bright fruity hops, somewhat mango/papaya then pops a little piney punch. Slight hop spice zestiness. Subtle dankiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a stifled dry zesty hoppy bitternesss. Some dankiness. Pine, papaya/mango sweetness right before the aftertaste which was dry and bitter with a slight juiciness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Good carbonation and ABV. Nice smooth danky to sticky mango/papaya zesty character clings in the finish.
Overall, that's a pretty damn nice New England styled DIPA. DDH did seem a bit light but I liked it for what it is.

Very smooth for its strength, dangerous in that way. Very good flavor but not as hoppy as expected for a DDH.
