Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a finger of effervescent white head. The head leaves a crown of lacing as it settles into a thin sheet.
The aroma is dank. Like someone threw a pot of caramelized onions into Snoop Dogg's gym locker. There's some subtle notes of berries and grass, but it's just overpowered by bittersweet, oniony dankness.
The flavor is more of the same, with the added sweetness of strawberries and cream. There's a very faint tart character on the finish, assumedly from the pomegranate, but it could just as well be from the caramelized taint of someone's used underwear. Not pleasant.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very soft and dry on the finish.
Overall, a pretty weak IPA. Lactose IPA's are hit or miss, but the mosaic dry hop brings out the absolute worst in the hop with this one. It's very sweet, yet has that dank, oniony character that just doesn't mesh well with strawberries and pomegranate.
