The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour on the beer produced a one finger head and dissipated fast. The head is ivory in color and is airy and foamy. The head left no lacing on the glass. The head dissipated to nothing. The color the beer is SRM 4 a gold color with amber hues. The clarity of the beer is mostly clear with a touch of haziness. The beer has a few effervescences coming from the bottom.

The initial aroma of the beer is apples, pineapple, oranges, and lightly toasted malts. Lastly, I get yeast, herbal, and grass.

I taste apples, pineapple, mangos, oranges, honey, toasted malts, biscuit, herbal, yeast, bready, grass, oatmeal, milk, and floral.

The mouthfeel of the beer is sticky and creamy.

The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and a medium finish.

It tastes like Angry Orchard with a hop note mix in a milkshake. The beer is overly sweet and annoying. The hops are clouded somewhere within the beer along with the malts. I do not like this beer. I just found out what this beer was and I will pass on it.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a mild burnt orange color with a quickly dieing foamy head that left no lacing.
The aroma had sweet and tart apricot rolling over sweet and tart plum bits, fleshy and skin. Light lemon squeezes some juice in underneath.
The flavor mostly blended the sweet to the tart but with some warmth, the sweet stayed a bit in front. Mild bitter hops and a touch of lemon ride on into the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Good finish, somewhat creamy but a mild milkiness to it.
Overall, this is the second well done milkshake IPA by Mystic that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a murky golden body with scant lacing. Nose of this weird fruit. Taste of same with a slightly off-putting middle through finish. Usual feel of too much lactose. Overall, ... next please. Cheers?

A very interesting twist on an IPA. The apriplum fruit is featured prominently in the nose and taste, so it does not have a strong hop nose like many of the other New England IPAs out there. Mouth-feel is very smooth, something Mystic seems to really do well. Very enjoyable.
