Can. Pours flat. Quite hazy but the body glows. Not muddy, or opaque. Aroma is of bright citrus. Almost smells more like a west coast IPA in terms of hops. Way different in the malt and yeast category though. Flavor is decent. Doesn't taste like a muddy, haze bomb. Flavor is lighter, less cloying, brighter. Citrusy. Not a bad beer; not one I will remember either.

From a 16oz can, dated 03/18/19. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
An only moderately hazy pour, dull yellow-gold with a scant finger of soft, soapy suds. Retention is so-so decent, leaving a thin curtain of slippery lacing.
A relatively faint, characterless nose, toasted grain, I guess, dry, with a hint of cider.
Taste is initially rather grainy and harsh, softening out a little with some grapefruit and spruce, and finishing with applesauce. So, not great, but there’s a really, really very pleasant earthy-herbal-sort-of-vanilla aftertaste which is totally at odds with my first impression and which I try to hold in my mouth as long as I can before I take the next sip. I don’t know what to make of that.
Feel is smooth and slick, medium bodied with ample carbonation.
Overall, neither especially appealing or unappealing but, for 8.5% abv, it’s inoffensive and surely gets the job done.
