This beer was very under-carbonated which made it not enjoyable.

Canned 5/06/19
Pours a medium frothy foamy 1/2 finger white head with moderate retention, light lacing, crystal clear pilsner straw color
Nose some grainy sweet doughy malts, some pilsner but not much, not much malt in general, light floral herbal hops also fairly light, hint of fruit and corn notes
Taste more grainy sweet pilsner malt but again not a lot, light malt profile overall, hops seem to dominate here with a medium light bitterness but quite a bit of the herbal grassy earthy hop profile, very herbal and leafy like, some Saaz/Hallertauer some EKG like notes, light doughy bready background as it warms, crisp lager finish with sulfate induced crisp bitterness and a bit spicy
Mouth is lighter bod, medium-higher carb, soft lager
Overall this is a nice summer beer, pretty light overall for a Helles, especially in the malt area, and the hops are a mix of a few different ones but still interesting, and an enjoyable lager

From the brewery -
"Many of you may have seen Von Lūne Lagers kicking around from time to time. This brand has been a side project of Mystic Brewery in the works for just over a year, as we have worked making adjustments to bring you a beer that we feel is exactly what we would want in a lager.
Von Lūne Helles will be the first of this project that we will have available on draft and in cans for sale in our taproom; crisp and bready with a touch of sweetness. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have. 4.7% abv. "

Good to know this is from Mystic - an excellent brewery that puts out a range of tasty beers.
Cloudy golden pour with a great cap of head that sticks around the glass.
Crisp and bready is right - this Helles is an easy drinking but full-flavored brew. Biscuit, bread, cracker followed by earthy slightly spicy hops. I pick up a smokey-malt kicker on the back end that adds to the overall enjoyment and differentiates it from other like brews.
Good feel for the ABV - it's a full bodied brew in which the great taste rides the carbonation to flow over the palate nicely.
