This was served in standard shaker. The beer is dark, dark red bordering on black with a brown head. It had great lacing.
The nose is of roasted malts and bit of wood smoke.
The taste tracks the smell. Well roasted malts, a some smoke and a bit burnt coffee. I could detect no impact of the potatoes on the taste.
It has a slightly thin mouth that could be bulked-up a bit.

A copperish brown body with a light tan head of foam. Leaves a touch of lacing around the glass. Does not have the look of a stout at all.
A light roasted malt scent with a hint of chocolate and actually potato. Weird.
The taste is of a nice light stout, but follows with a light potato flavor. The potato pairs well with the mild chocolate and roast of the malt. Interesting, yet tasty.
Very dry and smooth. Good carbonation that is mildly prickly.
I like this one. Subtle potato flavor really worked in this. Very drinkable beer also.
