Not too shabby a wit. Heavy on the orange. Spices are there. Doesn't really deviate from the flavor profile much and stays consistent. If this is a reformulated version of this beer, then I say, good (or, better?) job. This tastes much better than it sounded. A bit too heavy for my tastes personally, but not too bad.

 

Appearance: Way over carbonated it took several pours to get the beer into the pint, but other wise it pours a hazy golden with a huge amount of head.1.5
Smell: The beer smells of wheat and yeast in that order 3.5
Taste: Stallostown tastes of wheat malt and not much else. The usual spices that are in a wheat beer are subtle to say the least, but it makes for a rather clean taste.3.5
Mouthfeel: The beer isn’t thin but it doesn’t seem thick either I am guessing it is hard to place due to the cleanliness of the taste.3.5

Had thisone accouple times now, both draft and bottled. I like it, one of this small breweries better efforts.

It pours a hazy golden yellow. Carbonation is active at first but fades there-fore the white small head fades quickly to none. Lace sticks well though.

Aroma is citric on the nose.

Taste you pick up the citric, tartness of orange peel. You know, the inside white part. Coriander spice, pepper and bready yeast bring it all nice and smooth.

Mouth is smooth, soft, left slightly tart but with a hop oil film.

Overall i like thisone, it has active flavor, though the carbination could only hope to be as active. worth a try.

Growler filled this morning. Poured into a standard pint glass approximately nine hours after filling. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a very minimal and short-lived head. The scent is of bready yeast and coriander with a hint of citrus in the background. The taste brings the coriander flavor to the front and is followed by a citrusy-bread aftertaste with the coriander lingering. It has a light mouthfeel and is a very easy drinker. Overall, this is a good summer beer and one that I'll continue to go back to as it's from my local brewery.

This is only the second review on this beer, with the first being by WVbeergeek about 7 months prior to my review. I had my growler filled at Wooden Shoe's small brewery in my hometown. I had a lengthy conversation with the Brew Master and he told me that they've recently changed the brew process on this beer and it's yielded a much better end product. I'm not saying WVbeergeek's review is inaccurate, he has 2395 reviews at the time of my review, so I'm assuming he knows his beers. I just might have to send him a fresh bottle so he can possibly revisit this beer.

Pours a fizzy murky golden peach color with a birght white head dwindling away quickly. Specks of wispy lace left behind. Aroma has citrus upfront with a nice tangerine flow to it, bready yeast with mild coriander spicing. Flavor is putrid top ten worst beers of all time acidic gag reflux inducing terrible off balanced coriander heavily spiced with overbearing citrus peel bitterness. Mouthfeel cloying can't bear another sip, carbonation is fizzy and forced with carbonation. Drinkabilty is a drain pour, sorry beer gods this isn't acceptable.
