8oz Plastic cup at street party after Dexter Ann Arbor Half Marathon.
Pour: hard to say given the circumstances but looked to be a ruddy red color. Some clouds and a ring but had been poured sometime before I picked it up.
Nose: sweet malt but not overkill. Maybe some dark fruit.
Taste: big, smooth, sweet malts. Some bread, very little bitterness but not overly sweet.
Mouthfeel: so, felt great but had just run a HM. A little sticky, viscous, but super easy to drink...
Overall: the situation could have made bathwater taste good but I really think this was a great malt-forward beer. Drank easily on a spring day with sun and warm temps. Could see it working well on a cold winter day (but not avail then) as well. Worth trying at least once.
