This beer is their standard dark lager, aged for a couple of months in a bourbon barrel. The barrel was apparently previously used for another beer, so the bourbon character is there, but not "hot".

Aroma has vanilla-oak bourbon notes with a background of toasty malt.
The beer is very dark, almost black, with a tan head.
It's smooth, with mild sweetness, an engaging vanilla note, and touches of toasty malt. Bitterness is fairly low at 19 IBUs, just enough to balance the malt and vanilla sweetness. The finish is beautifully vanilla.
Fairly lit bodied with spritzy carbonation.
This is the second in a series of bourbon barrel aged beers. It has a beautifully balanced blend of the beer with the bourbon character.
