A - Dark with small dark head.
T - Nice roasted character with some caramel.
O - I've had a few schwarzbiers and this is a good attempt at the style. There isn't much to make this standout though, and I'm probably being a little harder on this beer because side-by-side with their Volitionist American Stout Lager, there wasn't much distinction between them.
(Submitted style change note since Wolverine lists this as a Schwarzbier on their style notes)

Had on tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a dark brown almost black with a finger of light brown head.
S: Aromas of bitter cocoa and dark roasted malt.
T: Very light bitter coffee and light bitter cocoa. Clean and crisp finish.
M: Medium body with good carbonation.
O: I have'nt had a black pilsener before. This tasted very nice.
