Notice: If I were reviewing this beer strictly based on style I would have to give it a 1.5 average. This simply does not add up as a Double Bock. It couldnt even qualify as a bock. Still, I will be giving this brew a rave review because it completely kicks ass a beer, just not within the style they were shooting for.
Appearance: Moderately deep copper-amber body with a minimal khacki froth.
Aroma: Geuze like. Very exciting. Battery acid, funky rotten hay, sour lemons, feet with warts on em, horse manure, etc Yum! This is fricking awesome.
Taste: Sour cherries, rancid malts, waterlogged hay on a hot summer day, some putrid strawberries that have been stomped by angry goats. Hoping is very minimal. Delicious.
Mouthfeel: Very light body. Low carbonation. Cask like. Tart front, sour center, rancid sweet hay finish. Very lively and exciting sensations.
Drinkability: Through the roof.
