Poured from 22 oz bomber into tulip glass.
A: Very dark chestnut brown almost black with fluffy one finger white head than settled quickly to a small ring. No lacing to speak of.
S: Belgian yeast, vanilla, and oranges.
T: A very mild and balanced Belgian dark ale. A nice blast of Belgian yeast spiced with a bit of peppercorn, vanilla, and orange peel. The vanilla is prominent on the tongue and offsets the spiciness of the pepper.
M: Medium body and fairly lightly carbonated. A bit dry on the finish.
O: Enjoyable dark ale with enough twist to be of interest without destroying the base style. Another solid brew from Yellowhammer.
