Hazy golden color with white cap.
Tantalizing aroma of fresh hops captured in a burst of lemony, zesty, citrusy clarity with a touch of pineapple and pine resin. Darnedest combination but that's what I'm getting.
Taste on entry is more pine/pineapple (that combination again) surge up front yet that's layered on a deeper and more complex hop group the whole of which comes across as bracing, refreshing and tasty. Malt is in there but I get it more as a texture than a flavor.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
Brewer calls this a New England Style Pale Ale to which I can't say as I haven't had enough of the style upon which to base a full comparison. I can say this has a pleasing texture and overall juiciness that makes it a pleasure to drink.
