Not every day (or year, or decade) that I do a review of a beer from Alabama, but let's do this, ROLL TIDE!! (Damn that "High Tide" commercial is high-larious).
Pours a hazy style, cloudy, average haze, that color between yellow, orange and beige. It ain't canary/Marquette/goldenrod yellow, its that dullard yellow. Speaking of which, poured into a Marquette 2017 jersey pint glass (100th anniversary series). Does make a nice 3/4" white head with good retention. The aroma seems more traditional C hop a tad more than proprietary. Grapefruit rind and pine, you know the drill.
The taste keeps hitting the pine and grapefruit buttons. The mouthfeel has a higher degree of bitterness and given what seems like the hops and their flavors, it all makes sense. If I were to guess, the light pineapple edge might be Galaxy or El Dorado, I dunno take your pick, Centennial, Chinook or Cascade, some combo of these hops. Moderate wheat and oat usage.
I think I scored this can from the now defunct Sparks location Pinon bottle shop. Sucks, that was a cool pregame location for the Nugget outdoor concert venue.

Too florally and dry for my liking.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
