Base beer is our Tent Pole Vanilla Porter, which is made with black patent and extra chocolate malt, then infused with vanilla flavor from a whole lot of Madagascar vanilla beans. Peanut butter flavoring is added for a delicious twist! Chocolate, a subtle smooth vanilla character, and of course, peanut butter all shine! No peanuts were harmed in the making of this beer.

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice dark brown/black color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus tan head, which also leaves some nice oil slicks, and some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, malty, with a pretty nice touch of chocolate/toffee, some peanut butter, vanilla, licorice, roasty. The taste is pretty nice, malty, with a nice touch of chocolate/toffee, nice peanut butter, with a nice touch of vanilla, licorice, pretty nice roastyness. Medium Body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Glad to see it around here.
