Bottle delivered by Brew Donkey. From notes.
A - Dark golden pour and bright with mild carbonation. Two fingers of fluffy off white head left spotty lace and a half finger of retention.
S - Citrus, toffee, bread, diacetyl. Not all that interesting.
T - Piney for sure. Not a ton of depth. Stone fruit, toffee, butterscotch. Tasted similar to my homebrew.
M - Strong rough bitterness. Strong carbonation, medium to full body. Not a pleasant feel.
O/D - Meh. Typical Clocktower in that it's not all that impressive. Roughness was expected given the name, but the flavour wasn't there to balance. I get it's supposed to be really bitter, but it needed some better flavour to balance. Didn't finish it. Didn't really enjoy it.
