The Kölsch is our flagship brand and our lightest offering.
This beer was patterned off of the traditional German Kölsch that where produced in the city of Koln. Traditionally, this beer was brewed using a portion of the grain as wheat instead of barley.
This beer is perfect for those experimenting with craft beer for the first time.
The aroma is that of cereal grains with a light floral note at the end. Upon drinking, the flavors subtly take over the mouth leaving very little bitterness. There is a noticeably sweet taste that appears just before the carbonation cleans the palate.

L: Transparent medium yellow with quickly disappearing head
S: Doughy grains and herbal grassy hops
T: Some citrusy hops and sweet lightly toasted cereal malt but pretty dull and apple juicy overall. Not very bitter but has a bit of an unpleasant lingering aftertaste.
F: Well carbonated and crisp at first but quickly flattens out a bit.
O: Drinkable but not very great. Slightly better than a typical macro lager.

Serving: On tap
A:
Pours a clear straw with a skiff of white head that evaporates. No retention; no lacing. (3.25)
S:
Some toasted cereals, a little green apple, and not much else. (3.25)
T:
Follows the nose. Strong pils-twang character and some toasty malts, hard water and a touch buttery. (3)
M:
Lightish body, a little slick with prickly carbonation and a quick finish. (3.5)
O:
Meh.
Not terrible. far from great, though. Too much out-of-control pils malt weirdness, but a decent toastiness.
Refreshing but could be crisper. Neither bad off but nothing super flavorful/well-made either. (3)

Can from the lcbo for around $3. Tastes a little bit too much like apple juice and there is way too much carbonation, it is almost like a seltzer. Maybe I just had a ban can.

Can: Poured a hazy golden color Kolsch with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light faint sweet notes is enticing enough for the style. Taste is a nice mix cereal notes with some final sweet notes and some light subtle buttery notes. Body is above average for the style with good carbonation. Easily drinkable even though it is a bit off from the style guideline.

Not usually a fan of "light beers" but tried this. Poured a clear, slightly golden color. aroma of subtle hops and slightly medicinal. Taste is well, dull. Obviously for the masses. Cornish light body with a subtle hop flavor. I cant even discern anything distinct. Just, plain i suppose. Wouldnt order again.
