I guess this is a new take on their Raspberry Wheat. Arrived clear golden with a good head of foam. Decent lacings. Tonne of carbonation on this one.
Don't actually get too much from the aroma. Sweetness comes through but it's hard to say exactly what from, I'll cheat and say raspberries.
Not nearly as raspberry'y as I thought it would be. A kind of strange mix that makes it quite hard to actually identify individual aspects of the beer. Raspberry is certainly the most stand out, but not nearly as fruit as I had expected. Maple is a bit trickier, although it is used quite well here and compliments the fruit nicely. Finish leaves a bit of a sugary taste on the tongue, a sort of Belgian character.
A lot of carbonation here and it works well for what it is. Certainly refreshing.
A good mix of some unlikely ingredients.
